I had great difficulty in tracing the identity of this model, but I finally found that he was a jazz pianist. That is all I know about him.
That cowboy hat looks unfinished, doesn't it?

I don't like it. The colours on his face look sick - and his lips are not natural. The hat is perched about to fall off/or is ill-fitting. The entire picture seems unfinished, not just the hat.
