I am back to Waterhouse's portraits and this is of his wife, Esther, who was a talented artist in her own right.

Very nice portrait, but difficult to tell how accurate the likeness because full frontal..side views are often incredibly different...I've seen amazing looking men and women side view on and when I see them full face, they're not half as good looking...very strange... But, it's very nice portrait, and interesting in that it is distinctly a painting rather than one of his completely realistic paintings that he normally does...if that makes sense...LOL...GBHs...XXX
We all have a good side and a bad side.
And what we see in the mirror is not how others see us, as the image is reversed.
